Buona Festa della Repubblica!  

Or Happy Republic Day. 

Republic Day, also known as Festa della Repubblica in Italian (Festival of the Republic), is a national holiday in Italy, taking place on the 2nd of June each year.  

It commemorates the date when Italians voted to abolish the monarchy and form a republic. 

Given today’s significance, we wanted to have a look at the Italian-born population here in Australia. 

Using SwiftFox CRM’s mapping capabilities and ABS Data from the 2016 Census, we identified the top 10 suburbs nationally with the largest population of people born in Italy:
